Further Information:
The circles are non-hierarchical, the The Daylight Collective facilitator/s acts as a guide to take you through the meeting, but also share as a fellow creative and may have their children with them too. This is a place of support and permission to show up as you are, in all the roles you hold and interests that make you unique. The conversation is adult centred, but mindful of the children in the room.
M/OTHERS: This circle aims to be inclusive for people exploring m/otherhood. This includes pregnant people, biological, adoptive, surrogate, bereaved mothers, non binary parents, queer mothers, Grandmothers and Great Grandmothers. Women who are childless not by choice, women who are interested in exploring their caring roles or future motherhood are also very welcome. This is not an exclusive list. If you would like to come but are unsure please get in touch with Lizzy.
CREATIVITY: You don’t have to be making at present. You might be a professional creative or be creative in your spare time, or longing to find creativity in your life. You are all equally welcome.
Children/grandchildren of any age are welcome with you, you are also welcome on your own. Children are welcome to be themselves and hold equal status in the space. Please bring the things that make them comfortable – snacks (nut free), toys, blankets etc.
Supported by Exeter Phoenix since 2018 and the current Arts Council England project Daylight Sessions.
