Unstampable: Postcards from the Still Possible

Friday 12 December at Exeter Library

Workshop 10.30am-12.30pm

Led by Hannah Mulder with Lizzy Humber (The Daylight Collective)

A creative workshop to craft your own “postcards” from a future you would love to make, led by theatre maker Hannah Mulder from MakeShift. Choose your own favourite way to make – writing, drawing, performing, music –or discover something new. A range of possibilities will be on offer. Expect games, creative exercises and playful conversation, to inspire you to imagine what a just and thriving future could be like, how we can get there and what future generations might want to communicate to us now, in a time of crisis.

The workshop is inspired by the themes of Hannah’s new play, Unstoppable, about positive social tipping points, but you don’t have to have seen the show to attend the workshop.

Facilitator:

Hannah Mulder is a writer, director and mother living in Devon. She is Artistic Director of brand new theatre company MakeShift and an Associate Artist at Exeter Northcott.

Parent-Accessible Space:

Children of all ages are welcome alongside care-givers. This workshop is designed in consultation with Lizzy Humber from The Daylight Collective to create a parent-freindly approach. Children are welcome to be themselves, there will be an offering of early years toys to play with and space for buggies. Older children are equally welcome, but please note there is likely to be some adult themes and discussion. The workshop is held at Exeter Central Library which has a fantastic children’s library in case friends or family are able to support you attending, or if you need to take a break to have a walk around. More about The Daylight Collective’s parent-friendly principles and practice.

Unstoppable is co-produced by Fern Culture, in association with Exeter Northcott Theatre, Libraries Unlimited and Sterts Arts and Environmental Centre.

Unstoppable is supported by Arts Council England
